Converse Unveils The All Star Modern Sneaker in NYC

Converse Inc. unveiled its updated take on the label’s most iconic sneakers with the debut of the Converse All Star Modern inspired by the Converse 1920 All Star sneaker and the brand’s roots in basketball. Modernized and code signed with parent company, Nike, the outsole is contoured full-length in Phylon with a neoprene split tonight and lining. Other highlights of the All Star Modern collection including the circular knit uppers with additional features found in the Nike Hyperfine (TPU-fused overlaid toecap). Ryan Case, global product director of Converse Inc. spoke about the new offerings at an exclusive event held in New York City.

The Converse All Star Modern HTM sneaker will be available on Thursday, June 9 for $180 USD, exclusively at NikeLab retail stores worldwide and NikeLab.com, in black and white color ways.

The Converse All Star Modern sneaker collection will be available on Thursday, June 16 for $140 USD (Hi) and $130 USD (Ox) at Converse retail stores and online at Converse.com
