Margaux Brooke, Bastille, and Dua Lipa at NYLON's Kick-Off Event at Upstairs, Virgin Hotel (July 28)

NYLON throws a kick-off invite-only event at Upstairs, the speakeasy located atop Downtown Chicago’s Virgin Hotel ahead of Chicago’s biggest music festival weekend (July 28). British musical trio HÆLOS performed several of their hit songs including “Dust,” “Earth Not Above,” and “Pray.” Model Margaux Brooke was in attendance with Bastille. Dua Lipa performed an intimate performance in a hot pink NYLON inspired number followed by a performance by singer Jarryd James who performed “Do You Remember” and “1000x” from his recently released EP, High. A conga line broke out lead by bands Bastille and Daughter. STILLHOUSE WHISKEY provided the specialty drink experience with a sampling bar and branded photo booth. The exclusive party featured DJ sets by Leslie Kirchhoff.
