First-time participant Nicholas Elliott, hailing from Scotland, played on texture in his premiere New York Fashion Week Men’s collection, playing with velour, vinyl, cotton, ultra suede, and jersey tank tops in a functional hodgepodge and visually appealing array of pieces. The color palette Elliott used is reminiscent of 70’s fashion, only heightened by the mustard yellow curtain as the background to his line of models. The menswear label has stated that the core of the brand’s mission is to produce all pieces under ethical standards with fair labor in the label’s production of materials. N-P-Elliott was established in 2013 after Elliott emigrated from London to New York.
