The team at FOODBEAST have done it again with the 2nd annual OOZEFEST happening this weekend in Southern California. The premiere cheese festival will take place today and tomorrow, October 15th and 16th, in Orange County from noon to 9PM (VIP running 5 to 9PM) and will include over 20 food and drink vendors featuring delicious cheesy items to be devoured EXCLUSIVELY at the festival.
VIP ticket members at OOZEFEST will receive all-you-can-eat access and endless beer as well as additional perks and exclusive items. Attendees are also welcome to visit the OOZEFEST Marketplace for the small fee of $5 and pay-as-you-go.
Some highlights from OOZEFEST include:
BRUXIE: The B.A.M.F. Chicken Sandwich (Buffalo and Mac n'Cheese Fried Chicken Sandwich) is a savory waffle stuffed with buffalo chicken, super creamy mac and cheese, and smothered in even more cheese. Legend status.
PUESTO: A goat cheese and pork belly chorizo taco, made with goat cheese chorizo, seared pork belly, a creamy jalapeno salsa, salsa negra and pickled onions on a house-made blue corn tortilla.
TREATERY: The Santa Ana dessert spot is making a series of Savory S'mores, including a herb spiced grahams, apples, and marshmallows made out of cheese
