I caught up with ISSUE 05 contributing photographer Chris Cash in Downtown Los Angeles over brunch and our respective cameras (mine a Nikon; his a Canon 5D). After an essential bite at the 24-hour spot, L.A. Cafe, we meandered around the corner to Shiekh Legacy where – as it always happens to myself or anyone I bring into the store – Chris picked up a new pair of all-white Nike Huaraches. (Not before showing me his Friday the 13th tattoo on his right kneecap, a spaceship.)
