2015 FYF (FUCK YEAH FEST) MUSIC FESTIVAL COVERAGE : DAY TWO – PH. BY KAYLA REEFER

A bittersweet ending to an overwhelmingly surreal weekend. The experience of shooting FYF 2015 is an irreplaceable memory that I will forever hold close to my heart. It's insane how life works... How one can put their dreams out into the universe and they find their way into the realm of reality. I remember joking around with my friend last year while attending Coachella, that I would shoot a music festival sometime in the future. There would be no more elaborate hiding of my camera at the bottom of my bag or packing my lenses secretly into her backpack to sneak past security. No more having to worry about getting caught only to turn around and walk all the way back to the car. I would cover a festival the right way. With a photo pass, access to the pit, and full view of the artists. I would walk the festival grounds free and proud with my camera in hand.

I said this to myself one year ago and this weekend it came true. I guess speaking things into existence really does work! I'm going to keep doing it and see what happens, who knows maybe my wildest dreams will come true? In the meantime, I give you the following moments captured on the 2nd, final day of FYF (FUCK YEAH FEST).

Artists I covered for Sunday were Toro y Moi, Mac DeMarco, DJ Harvey, Flume, Solange, Belle and Sebastian, D'Angelo and the Vanguard, & FKA Twigs.

In case you missed it! You can view my coverage of FYF, DAY ONE here.
