Where were you raised?
My family moved around quite a bit when I was a child. I was born in Detroit, but lived in southern Illinois and Ohio before moving back to Saginaw, Michigan in 1996. This forced me, my brother and three sisters to become really close.

How important are family values to you?
Family is everything to me.

How did you come to be placed in the position of overseeing SSUR Los Angeles?
Luck. Hah.

How do you know Russ Karablin?
Russ is an OG. A lot of today's top brands, artists and designers at one point in their career worked for or alongside Russ. He's been doing his thing for over 20 years so I've known of him for years.

How do you feel about the current streetwear scene as opposed to five years ago?
I'm just here so I won't get fined.

Running SSUR Los Angeles is a timely responsibility. Is there anything else you do?
Not really. I'm pretty boring.

Do "off days" exist for you? If so, what is one like?
I'm obsessive so there's no shutting it off but when I'm not working I'm with my family.

What do you look for in the people you work with?
A big thing for me is how people conduct themselves in their personal lives. The streets talk, so don't be a piece of shit.

Which cartoons did you watch in your adolescence?
I always liked Heathcliff. If you don't know, you should look that up.

Has growing up amongst mostly female siblings shaped how you see and treat women?
It's made me mentally and emotionally tough. It's also made me a private person.

What's your top five movie list?
"Cool Hand Luke"; "Goodfellas;" "The Godfather;" "Carlito's Way;"
"Fletch" or anything else with Chevy Chase.

Would you say that you're "cool"?
No. I'm mean and miserable.

Is everything right in the world?
Absolutely not.

Marriam-Webster describes loyalty as, "a feeling of strong support for someone or something." What does loyalty mean to you?
It means standing in someone's corner even when you know they're wrong.

Does honesty go hand in hand with loyalty?
Yes. You can't be loyal without honesty. That's why I'm so blunt.

Who are you?
I'm nobody.
