NYLON throws a kick-off invite-only event at Upstairs, the speakeasy located atop Downtown Chicago’s Virgin Hotel ahead of Chicago’s biggest music festival weekend (July 28).
SUSPEND is thrilled to announce that we are now carried at one of BucketFeet’s two storefronts in Chicago – Bucktown Studio (1647 N. Damen Ave.) – which opened last year in June 2015. Visitors will find a rotating mix of unique prints, cards, footwear, and other products made by artists only available at Bucktown Studio.
Chicago-raised DJ King Marie stops by the studio with her latest 'fits styled by Amanda Loren: "But when I started DJing, I wanted a name that was more fitting. I've been a tom-boy my whole life but I love being a woman. We're such powerful creatures. A woman can be a king, too, so I wanted to be the king of all queens.”
