SAINT HERON COLLABORATES WITH LA-BASED ART COLLECTIVE NO)ONE ART HOUSE

Saint Heron collaborates with Los Angeles-based art collective No)one. Art House based in the historic West Adams district for an immersive three-bight dance theater experience. The series of live performance evenings follows four dancer’s trajectory through introspection and catharsis. Started by four LA natives (Christopher Bordenave, Sabrina Johnson, Nia-Amina Minor, and Jeffrey Ware) of South Central Los Angeles, No)one. is one of the only African American-run contemporary dance organizations in the country.

For the first time since Saint Heron’s partnership with the art collective, No)One, Art House’s three-night dance theater experience will explore the relationship between spectator and player. The featured dancers will lead audience members throughout the space to engage one another in an unconventional relationship. Through contemporary movement by Danielle Russo and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, projections by Steve Rosa, and styling by PHLEMUNS, the work allows for an altered understanding of self.

Most recently No)one. Art House has collaborated with artists such as Anderson Paak, Mayer Hawthorne, and Empress Of, with plans to curate an evening length performance in the fall with Berlin based artists.
